Carpet Workroom from Final Touch Interiors aquires new portable Carpet Binding Maschine

As our customers are ordering more Carpet Runners and Area Rugs for their Homes, we realized that our Carpet Workroom needed a new portable Carpet-Binder to improve our efficiency when working on the Job. Our old Carpet Binder just was not up to the Job anymore.
After talking to several Suppliers, we decided to get the new NC Millennium 2005 portable Carpet Binder.
Carpet Binding MachineHaving bought from NC in the past several Products, like for our Drapery Workroom and our Carpet Workroom, we have been always very satisfied with their products and especially their customer support. And also their proximity to our Business Location was a big factor too.
Especially we have been very satisfied with their industrial TPB Carpet Binder. This workhorse is the world’s most capable carpet binder. It binds up to 3 inches, applies fringe, and even sews on serging tape. This bobbin-less, self oiling machine requires minimum maintenance and binds 4-5 times faster than conventional carpet binders. Powered by 2 independently driven clutches, this double puller handles dense, tough backed carpets with ease. The TPB is a lifetime machine designed to withstand multiple daily shifts in our Carpet Workroom. One of my best in investments, to get all Carpet Binding Jobs nice and perfect done.
Now to get back to the portable Millennium 2005; it is a quite interesting Binder which is bobinless, no more bobbins, just two large Spools of thread. It accommodates several different kind of Binding Tape including serging Tape an important factor.  And its speed is a phenomenal 23feet per minute (1380 feet per hour) on Cove Base. Last week we took the new Baby out for a run on a large Job. Instead of being on the Job for 2 days or having to bring the Carpet to our Workroom (an unnecessary step) to get the individual pieces bound, we got it done in one day. Not only was the Customer happy that we finished the job so fast, also my carpet installers were quite happy with a big job done so efficiently.

Workroom for Draperies-Upholstery-Shades and Pillows

We finally did some extensive remodeling of our workroom in which we manufacture our Draperies, Shades, Upholstery and Accessories. It took me quite some time as it involved a complete makover during the normal operation of work.
I finally can give my upholstery men his own large workspace to do his upholstery work on Sofas, Benches, Chairs, Ottomans etc. Moved the noisy air compressor out of the workroom into an enclosed area, so nobody is bothered by the noise any more.

Our beloved large drapery table which uses a custom measuring system from OB/Masco went back into the centerstage of our operation again. On this table we cut, measure and pin our Draperies in a very efficient and very accurate way.

Due to more work for swags and jabots, we changed now to the heavy use of Velcro. I got that idea when doing work on a boat, as on this particular job we could not use any nails or screws. But we still had to hold the window treatments in its place, that how I started to use Velcro. It comes in any shape and style.
For swags and jabots it does not matter in the production any more, if they are for a drapery pole installation or mounted on a board installation, or just for a free flowing Swag/Jabot treatment on top of a window or door.
Recalls or remakes don’t exist with this particular system either. Further it gives us an edge in a faster production. We always love that. This all is only possible with the use of a german work room system, which includes large commercial steam ironing stations.
Drapery Work RoomAnyone who knows about ironing fabrics will understand how difficult it is to get wrinkles or marks out of any kind of textile fabric, even at home when ironing the husbands shirts.
This irons work with heavy steam and their ironing sole can be adjusted to a lower temperature. Above problems can be elliminated without any big hassles.
It is also a snap now to apply blackout linings to any kind of window treatment like Roman Shades etc.
Great also in attaching any kind of Trims or Tassels to Draperies, Balloons, Roman Shades or any kind of valances we have to manufacture.
Even by the creation of custom decorative pillows which are delicate with their intricated patchwork, embroidery etc. it is very efficient and easy to use.

Donbracht is clearly passionate about innovative bathroom products, judging from their sleek and modern Horizontal Shower design. It's a very interesting idea that merges the relaxation of a bath and the therapy of shower jets. There are six water bars that run the length of the shower block. Each bar is equipped with jets that can be remotely controlled by a panel on the block. You can choose from a series of settings for different shower effects, such as equilibrating, energizing or de-stressing. Each of the options has a specific water temperatures and pressures that vary to achieve the desired effects. You can enjoy lying on your front or back and can choose to heat the block as well. Weathered Wood Table - Venice by Riva

6 Feb 2012 at 10:49pm

We instantly fell in love with the quirks and unusual look of this weathered wood table by Riva. Once again returning to its steady muse and material, the briccole, the Italian company has incorporated these watery logs - beautiful imperfections and all - into a modern table design that stands out for all the right reasons. The Venice designed by Claudio Bellini is an innovative piece featuring these water-logged, weathered and cracked wood pillars rising out of a sheer steel tabletop inspired by the water's surface - smooth, reflective, flawless. By bringing together these two extreme opposites (the blemished and beautiful), this piece is perfectly at home in contemporary-style surroundings and interiors with rustic charm. More information is available online at Riva.

The soft hues complement the plush cushions perfectly, forming what the designed has described as ?uterine sensuality.? The cushions are made of memory foam which, in keeping with the obviously maternal theme of the design, reminds us of protection, rest and the future. The base is made from polished aluminum, irregular in shape, just like the chair concept as a whole, If you like unique, one-of-a-kind pieces, this is a must-see!
